I was really looking forward to the two juices today with yoghurt in as they have to be my favourite as it is the closest thing to eating!
It was nice and warm so I decided to try on the croppped jeans that gave me a 'muffin top' last weekend and to my amazement they have room around the waist now! This is a miracle! I feel so great to have managed to change so much in less than a week. I got dressed feeling great about myself - it has been a long time since any jeans have felt comfortable.
Encountered a bit of what my sister calls 'diet saboteurs' today. A colleague had a real go at me about doing this, how bad it was for me, osteoporosis blah blah blah! Fortunately my mental preparation held me strong, and I know this week is so much better for me than the usual rubbish I fill my body with. And it is only a week!! I have had yoghurt and veg with calcium in! Hello!!
Anyway, my phone rang so I didn't have to justify myself to her - and why should I??!!
Most people are really supportive and intruiged and want to give it a go. I get some ice from our mini-Starbucks in our building and the women recognised me today and I had a really good chat with her about what I was doing and she asked me to let her know how much I had lost on Monday!
Had 3 Passion 4 Juice Master today, as the plan said to have 2 and then I really fancied another, so will not have the one tomorrow (I have used all the yoghurt now anyway!).
I have to say that I have found today the hardest mentally. I really want food, to eat something, chew etc. I watched as my colleague ate a jacket potato, beans and cheese, someone tucking in to fish and chips, and refused to go round to a friends house until after she had eaten her pizza tonight as I couldn't bear to see her eat it! They aren't even the things I am craving, but it is solid! Maybe it is because I have come so far, and I know I won't give in, but am so looking forward to Sunday, and my salad with sardines and avocado! Who would have thought I would be gagging for that a week ago when I was around this time tucking in to a cheeseburger (home made beef burger, not that it makes a difference!), chips and onion rings!
I got through the day though, and have to admit to not feeling great when I went to bed, and didn't sleep that well. Not sure why?
PS. I did an hours Body Pump class in the evening and went for a 30 minute walk at lunch time. When I had a shower tonight the skin on my face felt like it does when I have exfoliated, but I hadn't!
